Simply Helping to transform client care with Civica’s Carelink

The cloud-based community care product suite will streamline back-end processing and enable more than 1,000 staff to better support their clients from the field

MELBOURNE, 5 November 2019: Civica, a global leader in software for public and community services delivering solutions for more than 500 care providers worldwide, is pleased to announce it has signed a five-year contract to implement Carelink, its cloud enabled digital community care suite, with Simply Helping, a provider of a wide range of community care services including aged and disability care.

Following a rigorous selection process, Carelink was chosen for its strong track record to support Simply Helping’s 15 franchises across Australia. First established in 1998 in regional Victoria, the organisation now also has offices located in Western Australian and New South Wales. It offers a wide range of personalised in-home services, including aged care and disability services, supporting National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Home Care Package (HCP) clients. Simply Helping also provides brokered services for many large service providers in the community care space.

Civica’s Carelink suite will enable Simply Helping to make efficiency savings by removing processing overheads and duplication of data entry. Furthermore, with a cloud enabled and managed service, Carelink will also improve the security of client data and provide their customers with greater assurance about how their data is stored and managed.

Its 1000+ support workers will also have access to CarelinkGo, a mobile application enabling time and attendance reporting out in the field, and the CarelinkAir module which will enable administration staff to access information and forms from any web-enabled device.

Angela Feery-Richards, Director, Simply Helping, says, “As a growing organisation it is important to have a trusted technology partner to support the expanding needs of our clients and our staff.  We’re delighted to be working with Civica to implement a single platform which will increase our transparency and productivity, with our objective being an overall improved client experience.”

Craig Porte, Managing Director, Civica Care welcomes Simply Helping to Civica. He says, “We look forward to working with the Simply Helping team, and we pride ourselves on our industry expertise and commitment to helping our customers deliver the best possible service for their clients.”

Phase one of the rollout is expected in early 2020.
