Hear from renowned speakers on how technology can change the way we live and work, and why it can deliver better public services for London today.

Our keynote speaker Tiffany St James (voted Top 25 women who have shaped the British digital industry in the last 25 years) is working across government and with celebrated innovators such as Sir Tim Berners-Lee to help improve digital services throughout the UK and beyond. At Civica Innovate, Tiffany St James will draw on her extensive experience to help you better leverage the practical use of new technology today.

The London Legacy Development Corporation will also join us and share more about how their transformation programme has continued London’s regeneration, following on from one of the most successful Olympic Games in recent history.

How to think differently – interactive learning session on building the right environment for innovation

This interactive session is crafted to help leaders think differently. Hosted by Matt Bolton-Alarcon and Ed Christie, who have worked with organisations such as Google, Spotify and the Department for Education & Skills, the session will focus on a combination of mindset and skillset to tune-up for the afternoon's innovation sessions... and beyond!

A networking lunch will help conclude your morning learning experience.

Innovation in practice – workshop with peers to tackle some of London’s key challenges

Two workshops have been specifically designed to focus on tackling some of London’s key challenges:

Innovation workshop #1 – Harnessing new technologies to advance interactions between London’s and all its citizens
This session will discuss how London can embrace new technologies such as mobile, chatbots and intelligent assistants to improve every Londoners’ experience and access to public services. Our groups will use relevant use cases that could be applied in London to support our session (e.g. homelessness, assisted living, etc.)

Innovation workshop #2 – Unlocking the power of data to improve the quality of life in London
This session will discuss how data could be used to improve public services for citizens across London. We will use relevant use cases as inspiration support for our session and apply them to key opportunities for London (e.g. transport, crime prevention, air quality, etc.)

Together, we aim to create new solutions that make every day better for your organisation and the communities you serve.

Deliver

Change in action – bring value back to your organisation & develop a blueprint for further success

Delegates will collaborate to overcome their key challenges to delivering better, faster and more innovative public services. Our final interactive session will connect all your learnings and prepare you in delivering the next step in change in your organisation.

Our event will conclude with drinks and canapés, set against some of the most spectacular views across London. You can also experience the world’s longest and tallest slide to end your evening on a high!
