Civica builds on leadership position in engagement services with MES integration
Civica, a global leader in software for public services, has further strengthened its position in membership and community engagement with the full integration and rebrand of the Membership Engagement Services (MES) business to Civica Engagement Solutions, following its acquisition as part of the ERS Group in December 2018.
Since 2006, the company has been a leading provider of patient and public engagement cloud software tools for the health sector, securely handling interactions with 2.2 million members and stakeholder records for 200 NHS organisations including Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and South West Ambulance Service.
The company also works with a number of private sector membership organisations such as the National Trust and Ingeus, plus the Ministry of Defence, local authorities and housing associations to help them better engage both members and wider stakeholders.
Working as part of the enlarged Civica group and with its extensive cloud, automation and digital capabilities, the integrated business will help to speed up the modernisation of public, employee and membership engagement and integrating them effectively with on-the-ground delivery.
The Engagement Solutions product range features market-leading cloud software including: Civica Engage, a digital hub to securely hold all stakeholder data with built-in reporting tools; Civica Experience, a patient experience platform used extensively across the NHS, wider health sector and with sites in Australia which uses data to better inform improvement programmes; employee experience feedback platform Civica Empower; and Civica Declare, which supports NHS organisations with governance requirements and fully manages mandatory Conflicts of Interest reporting.
New customers since Civica’s acquisition include Chesterfield Royal NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, and Unison, the UK’s largest trade union with around 1.4 million members.
Sian Roberts, Civica Executive Director, Democracy and Engagement said: “The full integration puts us in an even stronger position to meet the engagement service needs of organisations across the health sector, public services and major membership organisations. Backed by the latest cloud and digital technologies, we look forward to providing ever-more innovative, data-based solutions to further advance citizen engagement in the future.”
