Trac Systems integrated into Civica

Civica has enhanced its health and care leadership and expertise with the full integration and rebrand of Trac Systems and its subsidiary Zedcore.

Since Trac Systems’ acquisition in December 2018, the company has added strength and depth to Civica’s cloud health offering for customers via its specialist recruitment services for the health and care sector. Using the latest digital technology, Trac software provides an efficient workflow for managers and applicants, increasing the speed of getting the right candidates into vacant posts. The business is currently working hard to support the NHS in recruiting staff including volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic including updated software to streamline processes and to support specific temporary recruitment.

The Trac cloud native recruitment software is currently used by over 180 UK NHS Trusts, with key customers including Public Health England, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

New customers since joining Civica include Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust, East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust and Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.

Steve Brain, Executive Director, Health and Care commented: “While everyone is committed to responding to the pandemic situation, this latest integration strengthens our position as a digital leader in health and care, and our ability to provide enhanced healthcare workforce cloud software solutions to our customers.”

With a 30-year + track record in the health sector, Civica delivers software solutions to over 500 customers across the NHS and private care sector globally: from electronic prescribing and patient records to enhanced workforce efficiency. The company provides cloud delivery to more than 20,000 clinicians, facilitates the scanning of 150 million documents and images and processes £60bn of NHS funds annually.
