TranSend ePOD provides complete visibility of routes and delivery status, capturing any events and exceptions as they occur and tracking driver compliance against the planned route. This enables more pro-active management of any delivery issues as they arise, through jeopardy alerts and predicted ETAs that use live traffic information to generate automated customer updates by email or SMS.
Accurate, real-time information that confirms deliveries and collections with signature and time capture, automatically updates your back-office systems to enable same-day invoicing. Any shortages or damages are recorded utilising the scanning and photo capability to electronically update the POD and generate customer receipts on site. Returns and replacements can be processed the same day, improving efficiencies at the depot, customer service and cash flow.

Dynamic, intelligent workflow is easily configured to handle the differing requirements for any delivery or collection process scenario, including secure delivery of valuable goods, unattended delivery, cash on delivery, frozen, chilled and ambient goods.
- Scan on / scan off load verification

As part of the vehicle loading process, and using the driver’s PDA, items are scanned as loaded and checked off against the route manifest. This checks that all items are present and have been loaded onto the correct vehicle and allows for load verification of secure or controlled items such as drugs. Once back at the depot, any returns and collections on the route are scanned off the vehicle, identifying returns to the warehouse, refunds to be processed and damaged items that cannot be returned to stock.
- Vehicle checks & incident reporting

The TranSend app forces driver and vehicle checks, for duty of care compliance, before leaving the depot. When incidents occur, the incident app guides the driver through the recording process.

In the back office, route compliance uses real-time location data captured by the PDA to compare the actual route taken against route plan, highlighting any exceptions.

Includes map-level visualisation of current or historical vehicle location as well route replay. Trailer management provides a real-time view of trailers and vehicle hook-up and drop-off.

A traffic-light system provides on-screen alerts to highlight exceptions to specified tolerances and enable more effective management of any issues as they arise. Role-specific data groups and KPIs are used to generate a graphical view of relevant processes in the delivery operation with full drill-down into detail for further investigation.
