The framework will enable, predominantly schools, to procure the supply, delivery, installation & support of Cashless Catering Systems and associated services. Many schools have identified an increasing need for cashless catering systems. Cashless catering systems remove the handling of cash at the point of sale and speed up the food service. The system can provide schools with a wealth of information regarding meal uptake, menu options, nutritional reporting, free school meals data etc. Cashless Catering solutions may incorporate pupil recognition systems such as biometric, swipe card or PIN facilities as well as an online payment capability and the touch screen hardware required at the point of sale.
